1930s/40s Novelty Horse Print Day Dress w/ Ruffles- S

Absolutely amazing, 1930s/40s novelty, western, horse print day dress with ruffled collar and ruffled faux pockets! Material feels like a wool blend, perhaps with some cotton or rayon. It’s not itchy and has a nice weight and drape to it. This piece has been LOVED, to say the least, but the print is too good to not give her a second life. I purchased this piece in France last year from the original owner’s stepdaughter, who said she wore it many times on trips to California. Needless to say, she’s definitely been enjoyed. I am not the first to have attempted to save her, so there is some wonky stitching at the waistline. There are various small runs in the fabric, which just means a missing strand has caused a line to run through the print. Not really a big deal. There are also faint stains at the hemline, on the front and back. All shown in photos. This piece is definitely for someone who appreciates the character that patina has to offer, but she is in strong, wearable condition.
