1940s/50s Cold Rayon White + Red Polka Dot Day Dress- S

Super darling, late 40s, early 50s, cold rayon day dress with a white and red polka dot print! I’ve had this piece for a while and finally got around to mending a few holes on the back. Such a sweet style and the material feels so good when wearing. There is a 1940s talon zipper closure on the back and the tag could also likely be 1940s, as catalogs of Howard Wolf tags are online dating back to the 50s but none look like this one. Of course the design of the dress suggests more 1950s as well. I definitely feel it’s likely a cusp piece.

Overall she presents very well. There are very faint underarm marks which I have treated so they have become super faint. There is also a very faint blue mark on the collar but it gets lost in the ruffles. As well as three patch mends on the back. She’s really such a cutie!
