1950s White Monogrammed Ruffled Cape- S-M
1950s White Monogrammed Ruffled Cape- S-M/L
Gorgeous, 1950s long cape in a creamy white. Monogrammed with the initials “MKM,” from Bonwit Teller. Features a beautiful, long and thick, satin ribbon to make a bow, a heavy snap closure is beneath to make sure cape stays closed. A long row of ruffle trim at the bottom gives this piece an elegant drape, yet provides some playfulness at the same time. Made of wool, I’m moderately sensitive and I didn’t find it very itchy at all, even wearing a tank top.
Has a small mend done on the back which causes the fabric to make a small pucker and there is also a very very faint mark, as well as a moth hole in the back of the neck. In the modeled photos of the side and back, you can view how the small pucker will be when worn. Often gets lost in the drape when worn.
