Absolutely breathtaking, antique crocheted peignoir robe. This piece is accented with petite, black velvet buttons and a lace up tassel detail on the shoulders and hips. This piece is in fabulous condition for its age. No breaks in the crochet, which is heavy weight and strong. Only flaw is there is silk trim beneath the lace up details which is has breaks, but it isn’t structural and gets lost in the ornate detailing of the piece. Could actually be removed to reveal the crochet beneath, if desired.
