Vintage Old West Horse Painting in Gesso Gilt Frame- 13x18”

Quintessential, old west painting depicting three horses and a traveling caravan of tents and a covered wagon. I love that the horses have three different colored hairs. Beautiful use of color. Judging by the board and frame, I’d say this piece is 1940s or earlier. Hard to tell if it’s a depiction of the imagination or a real still life. Either way, it’s charming and I love the contrast of the more romantic, European style frame with the old western subject matter. Medium is acrylic on board.
